CSIA’s “Technology Product of the Year” Apex Award

The Colorado Technology Association awarded Power Tagging as the “Technology Product of the Year” winner from over 100 applicants. The prestigious award recognizes technically innovative solutions that solve real world problems in a manner that provides benefits to its customers.

“Power Tagging is taking a leading edge approach to managing the smart grid.  They have been dedicated to improving the overall efficiency between energy providers and their end users,” explained Su Hawk, President of the Colorado Technology Association. “They believe the Smart Grid can be achieved by delivering a strong rate of return for Utilities, energy savings for consumers, and flexibility for the future.  Their technology is amazing and truly deserving of this Award,” she continued.

CTSI’s “Top Utility Solution” 2011

The prestigious Clean Technologies and Sustainable Industries (CTSI) Organization Utility Technology Challenge identifies and showcases the top technology solutions that can be adopted by utilities and municipalities – leading to more testing and pilot projects and faster adoption of clean technologies.

The review committee selected Power Tagging from more than 100 companies for distinction as the ‘Top Utility Solution’. “The competition for the Best Utility Technology was extraordinary,” said CTSI CEO Patricia Glaza. “Power Tagging demonstrated a game-changing Smart Grid communication technology, and we are excited to recognize their unique achievements.” The award leads to new on-grid test and pilot projects for Power Tagging to demonstrate its multiple Smart Grid applications.
